Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) has started inviting the application form today, November 28, 2019 for the recruitment to posts under different departments. Eligible candidates can apply online against 122 vacancies for the positions under the chemist cadre, information technology cadre, fire flighting cadre, finance & Accounts cadre and human resource cadre till December 18, 2019.
For the chemist cadre, there are a total of 59 vacancies in total for the positions of executive chemist (CH01), Sr. chemist (CH02), lab chemist (CH03) and Jr.lab chemist (CH04). For the information technology cadre, a total of 4 seats are announced in total for the position of a programmer (IT01) and assistant programmer (IT02). The same for the fire fighting cadre are 20 for the positions of Dy. chief fire officer (FF01) and driver cum fire engine operator (FF02).
Similarly, for the finance and accounts cadre a total of 27 vacancies are there having positions for the general manager (FA01), asst. general manager (F02), Sr. manager (FA03), manager (FA04), and deputy manager (FA05). The rest 12 seats are announced for the human resource cadre having the positions for Asst. general manager (HR01), Sr. manager (HR02), manager (HR03) and deputy manager (HR05).
For applying for the above-mentioned post, MAHAGENCO requires that candidates, if applying for the positions CH01, CH02, IT01 and IT02 must have a BE or Btech degree. For the candidates applying for the CH03 and CH04 post, they should have a degree of master’s in science. Similarly, for all the post under the finance and accounts cadre the minimum essential qualification requirement is that of a CA or ICWA final passed.
Along with the educational qualification, few years of work experience are also needed. Along with it, the corporation has also put a bar on the upper age limit for various post. The cut-off date for considering the age, education and experience is December 18, 2019, as mentioned in the notification released.
The procedure to apply online are different for different positions as per the guidelines laid down by the corporation. Candidates applying for the post code of CH01, FF01, FA01, FA02, FA03 & HR01 have to apply online at the website “ibpsonline.ibps.in/mahgevpaug19/” and also have to send the printed copy of the submitted form along with the relevant documents to “The Asst.General Manager(HR-RC), Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd, Estrella batteries expansion Compound, Ground Floor, Labour Camp, daharavi Road, Matunga, Mumbai- 400019.”. The last date of receipt of the form envelope is December 18, 2019.
Candidates who are applying for the post code CH02, CH03, CH04, IT01, IT02, FF02, FA04, FA05, HR02, HR03 & HR04 have to ONLY apply online at the given website, ibpsonline.ibps.in/mahgevpaug19/. MAHAGENCO will not accept the form other than in the online mode.
For filling and submitting the form, a requisite amount of Rs. 600 has to be paid by the backward classes except for the post CHO4 and FF02 whose fee is Rs. 300. For other category candidates, the form fee is Rs. 800 except for the post CH04 and FF02 whose fee is Rs. 500.
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the different selection methods pertaining to the post applied. Moreover, as demanded candidates must have a knowledge of Marathi language and certificate for the same has also be shown by the shortlisted candidates.
