State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has released the exam date of MAH B.Ed / M.Ed CET on mahacer.org via an official notification. The exam will be held on May 12, 2020. Apart from the exam date, the State Cell has also declared the dates of online application form release, admit card dates, result declaration date and the tentative date of centralised admission process (CAP).
The application form of MAH B.Ed / M.Ed CET 2020 will be available from March 11, 2020. The same can be submitted online until April 03, 2020. The registered candidates will be able to download their admit card from April 28, 2020.
After the exam, the result will be declared on May 27, 2020. The counselling process for all the selected candidates will commence on June 08, 2020.
MAH B.Ed / M.Ed CET 2020 is held for admission in 1st year of 3 years full time regular integrated course in B.Ed-M.Ed in the government-aided, government-aided minority, University managed, and unaided & unaided minority institutions/department in the Maharashtra state.
To apply for the exam the candidates have to fill in the online application form. The eligible candidates who can apply for this CET are those who are Indian nationals and have a post-graduate in science and arts can apply for the course. the candidates in the final year of their PG course cal also apply. There is no upper age limit to apply for integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed course.
Last year the examination fee was Rs. 1000 for open category candidates from Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state, J&K migrant candidates. For the candidates belonging to categories like SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC and SEBC, and persons with disabilities and from the state of Maharashtra only, the application fee was Rs. 500.
This time to ensure that the candidates from remote areas can fill the application form without any hassle, CET cell has attempted to establish SETU Centres for assisting the candidates in online form filling and document uploading at every district place of the state.
The entrance test for admission that is MAH B.Ed / M.Ed CET 2020 is held in a computer-based test format. As per the pattern of the exam in the last year, the exam has 100 MCQs of 100 marks in all. The questions are asked in 2 languages, Marathi and English. The total duration of the exam is 1 hour and 30 mins. Each correct answer has 1 marks and there is no negative marking.
In the exam questions are asked from teaching aptitude, mental ability, and general knowledge. The number of questions in these sections is 40, 30 and 30 respectively.
