Lucknow University MBA Admission 2019 Open

Lucknow University has started the registration process for MBA Admission 2019. Interested candidates can apply for management courses via Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) or CAT Scores. The application form for the admission is available at lkouniv.ac.in. The window to fill the online form will be closed in two months on May 15, 2019.

In order to apply for Lucknow University MBA, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. According to it, candidates must have a graduation degree with atleast 50% aggregate. For SC/ST students, the minimum qualifying marks are 45%. Final year aspirants can also apply for the admission. The application fee is Rs 2000/- and Rs 1000/- for General/OBC and SC/ST students respectively.


The application process for Lucknow University for PG Management (MBA/MTTM) is a four-step procedure. It includes registration, filling of application form, uploading of documents and payment of exam fee. In the first step, candidates must provide valid and authentic details like programme details, name, date-of-birth, email, and mobile number.

Following that fill the LUMET 2019 application form by entering personal and qualification details. Candidates who are in final year of graduation have to submit their final marks before the counselling round. In this step, also mention the mode of examination. Students who have opted for CAT can also choose to appear for LUMET.

Thereafter, upload the photograph and signature in the proper format. In the final step, pay the examination fee and take a print-out of the application form. Candidates do not have to send the copy of the form at the university address. The filled-in data can be updated in the application form. However, information entered in the registration page and caste category are not editable.

Students who are appearing for LUMET 2019 must prepare for the exam as per the notified pattern. The written test consists of 100 multiple choice questions that need to be answered in 90 minutes. Each question has a weight-age of 4 marks and for each incorrect answer, there is a deduction of 1 mark. The test comprises of five sections naming logical reasoning, numerical ability, data interpretation, general awareness, and English verbal ability.

Registered candidates for LUMET can download the admit card on May 25, 2019. It is downloadable from the official website using the registration number and password. On the exam day, students have to carry hall ticket along with photo identity proof. The test centre will be in Lucknow only.

Candidates whether applying via CAT or LUMET need to fill the application form before the last date. As per the cut-off, applicants have to appear for the personal interview which has a weight-age of 20 marks. The written test has a weight-age of 100 marks. According to the cumulative scores of these rounds and number of seats, the final admission to the university will take place.
