The Law School Admission Council has announced the dates for LSAT India 2022 for both January and May sessions of the exam. The exam for the January session will be conducted on January 15 and for the next session, it will be conducted on May 9. The score of the LSAT exam will be used by law colleges across India for admission to the 5-year law courses.
The application for the exam is open from October 18, 2021, and it closes for the January session on January 3rd and for the next session on April 25, 2022. Candidates who have passed their 12th board examinations in the 10+2 system with a minimum of 45% marks can appear for the examination.
The candidates can apply for the exam by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Go to discoverlaw.in and click on the LSAT India 2022 tab.
Step 2: Complete the registration by providing an email id and password.
Step 3: Check the mail id, and click on the verification link sent by the LSAC officials.
Step 4: Login through the LSAC portal using the email id and password.
Step 5: Fill in the details.
Step 6: After providing all the details, pay the application fee of ₹3799.
The exam is conducted online with a duration of 2 hours 20 minutes. The exam contains a total of 92 questions divided into three sessions. 23 questions for Analytical reasoning, 45 questions for Logical Reasoning, and 24 questions for reading comprehension. The admit card will be released online a few days before the commencement of the exam. It can be downloaded by visiting the official website. The candidates are required to carry the admit card and a valid photo ID for writing the exam. Aadhar Card, driving license, passport, voter id card, SC/ST certificate with photograph, school/college/university/employee id card with signature, or the original 10th/12th certificate with photo can be used as ID proof.
The results of both the January and the May sessions of the LSAT India 2022 exam will be released online. The result will be published a few days after the exam. The candidates will receive a scorecard mentioning the score of the exam in a percentile format.
