LIC Assistant Recruitment 2019 Notification for 8000+ vacancies soon, say rumors on social media

Since yesterday, several government job aspirants have been searching a lot for LIC Assistant notification. The sudden rise in interest in this topic arose when multiple people posted and shared through social media, that the Life Insurance Corporation of India is soon going to announce more than 8000 vacancies of Assistant in the organization. 

It is common to come across rumors of upcoming job notifications daily on social media. However, mostly these rumors are vague – with only the name of organization and vacancies. In this case, some people have not only posted the dates for LIC assistant recruitment 2019, but also exam dates. When, where, and how these reports seeped into media feed is unclear. However the depths of details posted by few has led many to believe that LIC will release notification for assistant recruitment soon. 

For example this status update says that the notification will be released on September 17, 2019. Online application form will be available from the same date and close on October 1, 2019. Moreover, it says that the exam will be held on October 21 and 22, 2019. The original poster goes on to say that graduates can apply for the post and there will be prelims as well as mains. 

Other posts in government job alert groups simply say that notification will be out on Tuesday.

In one youtube video, a PDF file of Begusarai division of LIC is also shown. The image posted in the video shows that there will be 156 vacancies in that division. 

It is relevant to note that at this moment, LIC Housing Finance Limited (HFL) recruitment 2019 for assistants, associates, and assistant managers is ongoing. Recently the admit card for this recruitment was released, and exam is on October 9, 2019. LIC HFL notification was released in the month of August for a total of 100 vacancies. 

The official website of Life Insurance Corporation of India is licindia.in. All recruitments by LIC are posted at the careers page of this website. At this moment, the recruitment details of Apprentice Development Officers (ADO), Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) are only available. LIC ADO mains exam for few centres where it was rescheduled will be held on September 22, 2019.

Direct recruitment to the post of Assistant in LIC is not yet heard of. Usually assistant recruitment is done for LICHFL only. Therefore these rumors seem even more strange. 

Last year in July a number of places had carried a fake recruitment notice for AAO posts. At that time LIC had to publish a notice warning candidates about fake job notifications. The corporation stresses that only job notifications published at licindia.in should be taken as true. Whenever any subsidiary of the company, like LICHFL, publishes recruitment notifications, then they come at their respective websites.

Thus, if the reports are true that LIC associate notification 2019 will come on September 17, 2019. Then the same will be available on the official websites.
