Language Knowledge Test
LIC has further notified that it will conduct a test for knowledge of language of state. As mandated in the notification, candidates are required to know the official language of the state or UT.
To check the same, LIC will conduct a qualifying test of 25 marks. Candidates will have to secure 10 marks, or 9 marks if they belong to SC, ST, PWBD categories. However such candidates who qualify main exam and can show class 10th or 12th marksheet or certificate which says that they had studied the official language of the state or UR under which the division for which the candidate has applied falls, then that candidate need not appear in this test.
