LIC Assistant 2019: Notification out for 6000+ vacancies, Apply online @ licindia.in

LIC Assistant Recruitment 2019 notification, apply online, vacancies all are now available. Application form is available for 2 weeks only.

LIC Assistant 2019

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released notification, online application form for Assistant recruitment 2019. There are 8 zonal offices of LIC, and 113 divisional offices. LIC Assistant recruitment 2019 notification has been released division wise by 7 zones. The total number of vacancies in available notifications is 6,207. The last date to apply online at licindia.in is October 1, 2019.

Northern zone has 1,544 vacancies. North central has 1,313 vacancies. Then eastern zone counts 980 vacancies. Central zone includes 472. South central zone has 631. Southern zone has 400 vacancies. And western zone has 867 vacancies. 

To apply online for LIC Assistant 2019 and download the notifications, candidates need to visit licindia.in and click on “careers” link in the bottom menu. Then click on “recruitment of assistants – 2019”. Once the page opens, click “next page”. Now here, apply online link is given at the top of the page. Zone wise and division wise notifications are available for download in PDF format.

The application fee is Rs 510 plus GST. SC, ST, PWBD candidates need to pay Rs 85 only.

Once form submission is over, call letter for prelims will be issued on October 15. The preliminary exam will be held on October 21 and 22. Bachelors degree holders, that is graduates, are invited to apply. As on September 1, candidate’s age should be between 18 to 30 years. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWBD general, 15 years for PWBD SC/ST, and 13 years for PWBD OBC.

Northern zone comprises of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan. In it, the division wise vacancies are as follows >> Ajmer: 95, Amritsar: 47, Bikaner: 126, Chandigarh: 50, Delhi 1,2 &3: 254, Jaipur 1 & 2: 217, Jalandhar: 25, Jodhpur: 188, Karnal: 65, Ludhiana: 64, Rohtak: 97, Shimla: 138, Srinagar: 71, Udaipur: 107.

Then the North Central zone is made up of UP and Uttarakhand. Here the vacancies are >> Agra: 99, Aligarh: 63, Allahabad: 105, Bareilly: 71, Dehradun: 34, Faizabad: 185, Gorakhpur: 262, Haldwani: 42, Kanpur: 54, Lucknow: 54, Meerut: 122, Varanasi: 222.

Eastern zone consists of West Bengal and the seven North Eastern states. Here the vacancies are >> Asansol: 65, Bardhman: 100, Bongaigaon: 41, Guwahati: 66, Howrah: 131, Jalpaiguri: 98, Jorhat: 42, Kolkata Metro Div 1 &2: 60, Kolkata Suburban: 103, Kharagpur: 235, Silchar: 39.

Then comes Central zone. With MP and Chhattisgarh. Vacancies herein are >> Bhopal: 43, Bilaspur: 33, Gwalior: 51, Indore: 90, Jabalpur: 90, Raipur: 36, Satna: 74, Shahdol: 55.

South Central Zone has Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka. Vacancies in divisions are as follows >> Belgaum: 73, Bangalore 1 &2: 40, Dharwad: 35, Hyderabad: 40, Kadapa: 40, Karimnagar: 68, Machilipatnam: 24, Mysore: 55, Nellore: 36, Raichur: 73, Rajahmundry: 11, Shimoga: 51, Udipi: 28, Visakhapatnam: 46, Warangal: 11.

Then the Southern zone has Tamilnadu, Kerala. In these states the vacancies are >> Chennai 1 &2: 20, Coimbatore: 39, Ernakulam: 10, Kottayam: 43, Kozhikode: 59, Madurai: 58, Salem: 45, Thanjavur: 34, Thiruvanantapuram: 20, Thrissur: 33, Tirunelveli: 21, Vellore: 18.

Finally zomes the Western zone. States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa are under it. The vacancies here are >> Ahmedabad: 98, Amaravati: 72, Aurangabad: 64, Bhavnagar: 21, Gadhinagar: 123, Nashik: 54, Kolhapur: 92, Mumbai 1,2,3 ,4 & SSS: 31, Nadiad: 51, Nagpur: 72, Nanded: 63, Pune 1 &2: 18, Rajkot: 10, Thane: 98, Satara: 52.

Only east central zone is either yet to publish division wise notifications, or there are no vacancies in it. The states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha come under it. Divisions are in Begusarai, Behrampur, Bhagalpur, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Hazaribaug, Jamshedpur, Muzaffarpur, Patna 1, Patna 2, Sambalpur.
