Today i.e. May 06, 2019 is the last date for submitting the online application form of Combined Medical Services (CMS) 2019. In the evening by only 6:00 p.m, the application form will be accepted by the commission. The application form is available at the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the UPSC CMS 2019 Application Form on April 10, 2019.
The unreserved category candidates applying for UPSC CMS 2019 have to pay Rs 200/- as examination fee and for female candidates and SC / ST / PH category candidates fee is exempted. Now, the candidates can only use online mode for paying the fee, as on May 05, 2019 by 11:59 p.m pay-by-cash mode option was deactivated. Through credit card, debit card, internet banking applicants can make the online payment.
Before doing the registration candidates must first read the eligibility criteria. The candidates who meet up with all the eligibility norms must only apply, because if later candidates found ineligible then those will be eliminated from the recruitment process. The candidate’s whose age is below 32 years and are holding M.B.B.S degree or who have completed the written and practical examination of the final M.B.B.S examination are eligible to apply.

The candidate’s who do not want to appear for the examination can withdrawal their form from May 13 to 20, 2019.
The candidates who submit the application on time and whose forms are accepted for those only admit card for UPSC CMS 2019 will be issued at the official website. Three weeks prior to the examination call letter is issued by the commission. The online examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 21, 2019. It is necessary for all the applicants appearing for the examination to carry a hard copy of the admit card and one valid photo identity card (aadhaar card, pan card, voter id card, etc).
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a computer-based examination and personality test. The online examination is consist of two paper i.e. paper – I and paper – II. The CBT will be of total 500 marks. In paper 1 and paper 2 questions related to general medicine, pediatrics and surgery, gynecology & obstetrics and preventive & social medicine subject will be asked, respectively.
After the successful conduction of the online examination first result of that will be declared in the month of September or October. The candidates who will qualify the CBT by securing minimum qualifying marks those are only called for the personality test (PT). After the conduction of all the stages of the test, the final result will be declared. The applicants whose roll number will be there in the final result those will be appointed for the applied post.
The recruitment will be done for a total 965 vacancies to the posts of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer (in railway), Assistant Medical Officer, Junior Scale Posts, General Duty Medical Officer, and General Duty Medical Gr.-II for a total of 965 vacancies.
