The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close down the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 registration link today September 25, 2019, at 11.59 pm. Candidates are left with only few hours to complete their online application form at ctet.nic.in. No more extensions are expected to be provided after it.
CBSE has provided two links to register – ‘CTET December 2019 Application Form (Server 1)’, and ‘CTET December 2019 Application Form (Server 2)’. This has been done to solve the site not loading issue.
Applications are accepted online at CTET’s portal. Candidates have to pay an application fee of 700 for paper I or II. But those who will be appearing in both the papers have to submit Rs 1200. On the other hand, candidates belonging to SC, ST, differently abled category have to pay Rs 350 for any one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers.
Candidates who are facing difficulties in scanning the images, the very first thing they have to do is draw a box as per the size on a A4 sized white paper and stick the image inside the box drawn. In case of signature, draw your signature in running hand inside the box. After that, scan it with the help of a scanner. Then, crop the images by taking help of any photo editor. Save the cropped images and upload it.
After the online application procedure gets over, the application form correction window will be available from October 04 onwards. Candidates will be able to correct the form until October 10, 2019 at CTET’s website. While editing the application form of CTET, the fields that can be edited are – name of the candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, paper opted, subject for paper II, first choice of the test center, language opted, address of the candidate, name of the institution / college / university.
Once the correction of application form is over, CBSE will directly release the admit cards for CTET 2019. The admit cards will be issued 10 to 15 days prior to the exam. Candidates will have to download their admit cards by entering their application number and date of birth or password. It is strictly to the candidates to carry the admit cards along with a print out of CTET 2019 admit card, photo id proof of either Aadhaar card / passport / driving license / voter id.
CTET is a national level test conducted for those candidates who want to become teacher for classes I to V and for classes VI to VIII. It is a pen-paper based conducted in 20 languages in 110 cities all over the country. The application form submission for CTET December 2019 started on August 19 Initially the last date to apply was September 18, and last date to pay fee was September 23. On the previously scheduled last date, CBSE decided to extend the form filling process by a week.
