Online registrations for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2021 are closing today. There is no time to waste as the registration link at the official website is going to be inactive after today i.e. January 16, 2021. Candidates must hurry up and fill up the application form as soon as possible at the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2021 is being conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning programs offered by NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs in India. The examination is scheduled to be held throughout India in four sessions viz. February, March, April and May 2021. JEE Main 2021 for the February session is scheduled to be held from February 23 to 26, 2021.
How to Register & Fill Up JEE Main 2021 Application Form?
In order to apply for JEE Main 2021, candidates have to register at the official JEE Main – NTA website at first. Thereafter, one can log in to the website to fill up the application form. Applicants can read the official information brochure available at the website for a detailed explanation of the procedure to apply online for the national level entrance examination.
JEE Main 2021 Registration Process
The first step is to register for the exam which can be done by entering some basic details including the email ID and mobile number of the candidate. At the homepage of the website jeemain.nta.nic.in, candidates have to click on “Apply For JEE (Main) 2021”. Thereafter, one must click on “New Registration”. After reading the instructions carefully, candidates can proceed to fill up the registration form.
On the JEE Main 2021 registration form, candidates have to fill up designated fields with Name, Parents’ Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Identification Type & Number, complete address, email ID and mobile number. One must also set a password on the registration form. After entering the Security Pin displayed, candidates can click on Submit to complete the registration process. An application number is generated which may be noted down.
JEE Main 2021 Application Form Fill Up
Once registered, candidates can log in to the website to fill up the application form online. Registered candidates can reach the Log In page by clicking on “Apply For JEE (Main) 2021” on the homepage of the official website. Enter the Application Number and Password and click on “Sign In” after entering the displayed Security Pin.
Enter the necessary details on the application form and upload scanned copies of latest passport-sized photograph and signature on the application form. Candidates have to deposit the application fee at the last step to complete the procedure to apply for the JEE MAIN 2021.
Application Fee for JEE Main 2021
Applicants have to use the online mode to pay the application fee using internet banking/debit card/credit card only. The last date to pay the fee is January 17, 2021 although candidates are advised not to wait till the last date for monetary transactions.
General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates opting to apply for one paper of JEE Main 2021 have to pay a fee of Rs 650. For SC/ST, PwD, Transgender and Female candidates, the fee amount is Rs 325 for one paper.
Those who intend to apply for more than one paper have to pay a higher amount. General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates opting to apply for more than one paper of JEE Main 2021 have to pay a fee of Rs 1300. On the other hand, SC/ST, PwD, Transgender and Female candidates have to pay Rs 650 only.
Candidates can also take the test from overseas centres. The application fee is higher for overseas centres. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for the complete details of the JEE Main 2021.
