The JEE Main 2019 Registration for the April exam is ending tomorrow, March 07, 2019 at 11:50 PM. The candidates can log in at jeemain.nic.in to apply for the exam before the last date. The already registered candidates of the January exam can use the same login id and password to access the April application form.
As for the last leg of the registration, the candidates have to make sure that they do not make any mistake while filling the application form. If a fresh candidate is applying for the JEE Main 2019 April exam, they have to fill the authentication form, complete the application form, upload scanned images of photo and signature and finally pay the application fee in the online mode.
The already registered candidates from the January exam can skip the authentication form fill up part and directly login using the JEE Main 2019 January exam application number and password. However, they need to fill the application form, upload the images and pay the application fee all over again.
The two different option for the fresh and JEE Main January 2019 registered candidates is available at jeemain.nic.in.
The application fee that is to be paid to submit the application form is Rs. 500 for the Boys of General/OBC (NCL) category and Rs. 250 for Girls, ST/ SC/ PWD/ Transgender if applying for either paper 1 or paper 2.
Similarly, the application fee to apply for both the papers is Rs. 900 for the Boys of General/OBC (NCL) category and Rs. 450 for Girls, ST/ SC/ PWD/ Transgender.
Fro March 11 to 15, 2019 the application form correction window is going to open for the successfully registered candidates. In this time period, the candidates can edit their form for changes or mistakes. Apart from the authentication form details, other details will be editable. However, there will be charges for correcting the mistakes.
Also, as per the latest notice by NTA, the form will be also available for all the candidates who have applied for the January as well for the April exam to claim the EWS quota.

After the application form correction ends, NTA will also notify about the allotment of exam city, date and shift via a public notice over the official website. The candidates will be able to visit nta.ac.in and check their allotted exam centre, date and time of the exam.
However, the final allotment will be made available via the JEE Main 2019 April Admit Card. The admit cards will be issued from March 20, 2019.
JEE Main 2019 April exam will be held in various shifts and days between April 07 – 20, 2019. The exam will be held in complete online mode. Based on the best scores of the candidates out of the both January and April attempt, the final AIR for admission will be prepared by NTA. The result will be based on the NTA scores (percentile scores) and not the raw score.
