Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) has extended the last date to apply for IRMA 2019. Candidates can now fill the application form until January 21, 2019. The form has been available at irma.ac.in. Aspirants interested in the IRMA Admission 2019 must register before the revised deadline.
The application fee for PGDRM is Rs 1500/- for the unreserved category. Whereas SC/ST category students have to pay Rs 750/- for an application. In the form, it is important for candidates to upload the important documents which include a photograph, signature, category certificate, academic certificates etc.

IRMA accepts admission via CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 scores. So, it is utmost that candidates have appeared for one of these examinations. In the coming days, the CAT 2018 Result will release in the second week of January 2019, and XAT will conduct on January 06, 2019. As the registration date is revised, candidates can analyze their performance in the exams and thereafter fill IRMA form.

IRMA invites the candidates for the next round on the basis of profile and non-profile scores. For the profile based scores, a candidate must have a minimum of 80 percentile. Apart from candidates’ academic performance, work experience is also taken into consideration.
In the academic performance, graduation in Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Development, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology is preferred. This criterion also includes performance on the basis of scores achieved in the graduate degree.
For the profile based scores, only the scores in the national level examination are taken into consideration. Thus, candidates must target a minimum of 85 percentile to get a call. Finally, after the shortlisting, the next stage of selection takes place. It includes the IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT), Group Activity, and Personal Interview. Apart from this, academic scores and diversity also have weight-age.
IRMASAT is an entrance examination conducted by IRMA which has a weight-age of 10% in the selection process. It is a computer-based test that needs to be completed in 80 minutes. The exam has a total of 40 questions. Each question carries 1 mark and negative 0.25 for an incorrect answer.
The test does not include general aptitude questions but has questions based on Short- Term Migration, Social And Economic Development, Rural and Urban Population, Indian Economy, IRDP Schemes, Health Issues etc.
After all the rounds, IRMA will intimate candidates if they are selected for the final admission. Any updates regarding the result will be reflected on the official website. Also, students must check the registered email id for the latest information. IRMA offers Postgraduate courses in rural management. Last year, the highest placement package crossed INR 46.50 LPA.
