RRB JE Registration 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will end RRB JE Registration process on January 31, 2019. The window to apply will close at 11:59 pm. However, the last date to submit the fee via offline mode is February 04 and to remit it via online mode is February 05, 2019. Offline facility to pay fee will end at 1:00 pm, whereas, the deadline to pay through online modes is 10:00 pm. The last date to submit RRB JE Application Form 2019, complete in all aspects, is February 07, 2019, at 11:59 pm.

RRB has opened 13487 vacancies for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant. The recruitment of the candidates under RRB JE 2019 will be done under Level 06 of 7th CPC Pay matrix, with initial salary of Rs. 35400, plus other allowances. Selection process includes CBT 1, CBT 2, Document Verification and Medical Test. However, the most important steps towards becoming Junior Engineer in Indian Railway is to submit RRB JEE Application Form 2019 properly.


The application form for RRB JE 2019 is available on the official zonal website of RRBs. In order to apply, candidates first need to select the RRB and then register by entering basic details such as, name, date of birth, age, aadhaar number, father’ name, mother’s name, class 10th roll number, class 10th marks, mobile number, e-mail id, etc. After registration, OPT will be generated and by entering it candidates will be able to access the application form of RRB JE and enter remaining details in it. Other than the details, candidates will also have to upload photograph and signature in the application form. SC/ST candidates also need to upload caste certificate.

Paying application fee is mandatory step. The RRB JE application fee for unreserved candidates is Rs. 500. However, candidates belonging to SC/ ST / PWDs / Women / Transgender / Minorities / Economic Backward Classes need to pay Rs. 250 only. Candidates who will appear for CBT 1 will get back the fee amount. Unreserved candidates will get Rs. 400 back, whereas, reserved category candidates will get Rs. 250 back.

It is expected that Railway Recruitment Board will open RRB JE Application Form Correction. The window will open after February 07, 2019. The candidates will be able make correction in the entered details. However, it should be noted that selected RRB, e-mail id, and mobile number once entered cannot be changed. The Board will charge fee of Rs. 100 for making the corrections.

The admit card for RRB JE will release after the status of application is announced by RRB. The admit card will only be issued to those candidates who will receive positive status of application. It will be released online and in order to download it user id and password will be needed. On the exam day, the admit card has to be carried as a print copy and with it, candidates also need to carry one valid photo id and photograph as well.

A valid photo id to be carried with the admit card of RRB JE 2019 can be pan card, voter id card, aadhaar card, passport, etc. The candidates should carry it in original and make sure that the photo is clearly visible on it. Also, the photograph to be carried should be the same as that uploaded in the application form.
