Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) has been closing the IRMA 2019 Registration on December 31, 2018. In order to take admission in one of the top b-schools of India, it is important to fill the application form before the deadline. Candidates clearing the cut-off for CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 will get the invitation for IRMSAT 2019, Group Activity and Personal Interview round.
Candidates who are interested in IRMA must have a minimum of 15 years of education. Also, it is necessary to have atleast 50% aggregate in a graduate degree. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ ST candidates. Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
The application fees for IRMA 2019 are Rs 1500/- and Rs 750/- for reserved and unreserved category. Candidates can pay the exam fee via online mode before the last date. Only aspirants who will submit the examination fee will be considered for the selection process.

Also, before filling the application form, it is required that candidates keep the scanned copy of applicable documents ready. Some of the documents that need to be uploaded include a photograph, signature, category certificates, education mark-sheets, work experience certificates etc. Importantly, submit the documents in the specified format only.
The application form for IRMA 2019 is a 10 step process. Candidates are advised to fill the details in serial order and fill only the valid details. In the form, candidates also have to fill the income details of the family. Also, enter the academic details correctly, as this information will be considered during the selection process.
If you have applied for CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 or both, then fill the exam details accordingly. Once the XAT/CAT exam result is available, then upload the exam score in the form. Once all the steps are completed, submit the application fee and take the print of the confirmation page.
IRMA will invite candidates for the selection process on the basis of profile and merit basis. In the former, candidates who score 80+ percentile in CAT 2018 /XAT 2019 will fall in this category. The key criteria to shortlist students is the excellence, work experience, and graduation in Social sciences/ Development studies/ Agriculture and Allied Sciences. In the second category, candidates getting 85+ percentile will be shortlisted for shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
Overall, the IRMA has defined the weight-age of each round in the official website. There is 35%, 10%, 20%, 5%, and 15% weight-age for CAT 2018/ XAT 2019, IRMASAT 2019 & Group Activity each, Personal Interview, Academic Performance & Diversity Rating each, and Profile respectively.
