Government Dungar College, Bikaner began the registration process for the Pre-Teacher Entrance Test (PTET) 2021 examination on February 03, 2021. The last date to register for the exam is today i.e., March 19, 2021. PTET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on May 16, 2021. Candidates qualifying for this exam can get admission for the 4-year integrated B.Ed course or the 2-year B.Ed course depending on the eligibility criteria. However, they must first register for the exam on the official website ptetraj2021.com.
PTET 2021 is scheduled to take place on May 16, 2021. Registration for the same began on February 03, 2021, and the last date to register was extended to today i.e., March 19, 2021. Today is also the last date to deposit the application fee. Authorities shall be releasing the PTET 2021 Admit cards a few days prior to the examination. Admit cards for the 4-year course shall be released on May 02, 2021, at 6:00 am whereas the same for the 2-year course shall be released on May 01, 2021, at 7:30 am. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website ptetraj2021.com by logging-in to the website using their credentials.
College authorities have specified the topics, based on which PTET 2021 examination will be conducted, through the official brochure. The question paper shall be divided into four sections – Mental Ability, Teaching Aptitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness and Language Proficiency (Hindi or English).
All sections in the question paper comprise 50 questions each. Moreover, all questions in the paper shall be of objective type with alternative answers given for each question. The question paper shall be set in both Hindi and English languages except the Language Proficiency section. However, in case of any discrepancy in the answers or the question paper, the English form of the question shall be treated as final.
PTET 2021 examination shall of 3 hours duration comprising of a maximum of 600 marks. Each correct answer shall be awarded 3 marks, however, in the case of the Teaching Aptitude and Aptitude section, marks shall be given on a scale of 0 to 3. In simple terms, this means that answer to each question shall carry a weightage as, 3,2,1,0.
Merit list of qualifying candidates shall be created using the PTET 2021 marks. In case two candidates score the same marks in the exam, merit shall be awarded based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The next parameter for distinguishing shall be date of birth followed by age of candidates. Older candidates shall receive a higher merit rank.
