The KVPY 2021 Registration will end today on its official website, kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. The application form commenced on July 12, 2021, and the last date to apply for the same was August 25, 2021. However, later an extension was given to the last date and the same will now end on September 06, 2021. The KVPY 2021 Aptitude Test is going to be held on November 07, 2021.
The students of only three streams are eligible to fill the KVPY 2021 Application form, viz. SA, SB, and SX streams. The SA stream comprises candidates who have cleared class 11th with Mathematics and Science as the main subjects. The students who are pursuing the UG programme in Basic Science course can apply under the SB stream. Also, the candidates who are currently pursuing class 12th and willing to join a Basic Science course in the UG programme.
Along with this, the unreserved candidates need to also score the minimum marks with at least 75% marks and 65% marks for the SC/ST/PWD in class 10th for SA and SX stream. The candidates applying for the SB stream need to have scored an aggregate of 60% marks in class 10th if they belong to the General category and 50% for SC/ST/PWD category.
The selection of students in the KVPY exam is on the basis of the marks scored in the Aptitude test and Interview round. Post completion of the selection process with high marks, candidates will be awarded a fellowship and a monthly stipend. The monthly stipend for SA/SX/SB streams(during 1st to 3rd years of B.S./B.Sc./B.Stat./B.Math./ M.Sc. / Integrated M.S) course is 5000 with an annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000.
Similarly, SA/SX/SB stream candidates who are in the M. S/ M.SC/ Integrated M.Sc.(4th/5th year) /M.Sc./M.Math./M.Stat gets a monthly stipend of Rs 7000 and an annual contingency grant of Rs 28,000.

Step 1: Visit the official website of KVPY, kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
Step 2: Find the Application login link on the official homepage and click on the same
Step 3: Next, the candidates need to register for the fellowship programme, and then a confirmation email will be sent to their email id
Step 4: After this, they need to log in with the User id and password and then proceed. Thereafter, the candidates have to fill the online application form with details asked and upload the relevant documents in the prescribed limit
Step 5: In the end, the candidates have to pay the application fee as prescribed for their category via an online payment channel. The candidates can then submit the application form and take a printout of the same
The prescribed application fee for the KVPY 2021 Application form is INR 1250 for General/OBC candidates and the same for SC/ST/PWD category is INR 625.
The candidates need to upload three documents i.e. photograph, signature and a medical certificate in the scanned form. The prescribed size limit for a scanned photograph is 150kb, a scanned signature is 80KB and a medical certificate is 300 KB.
