KTET Registration 2021 Last Date Extended to 23 May; Know About Online Photo Resizer in kb and Pixels

The last date to register & apply online for KTET May 2021 exam has been extended to May 23, 2021 till 05.00 PM.

Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan has officially extended the last date to register online for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test 2021. As per a latest rolling notification on the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in, the last date has been extended to May 23, 2021. Earlier, the last date to register for KTET 2021 was May 06, 2021 while the last date to take a print-out of the application form was May 07, 2021.

Now that the KTET 2021 registration window has been extended to May 23, 2021, candidates will be able to register and fill up the online application form till 05.00 PM of the last date. Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan released the official notification and started online registrations for the KTET exam on April 28, 2021. Detailed instructions to apply online has already been intimated by the conducting body on the official website and the notification.

It must be noted that in order to apply online for the KTET May 2021 exam, candidates must have an active Email ID and a Mobile Number. These details are required to register online for the exam at first. Furthermore, candidates must also upload scanned image of a recent passport sized photograph on the online application form.

Pareeksha Bhawan has also provided certain specifications for scanning and uploading the photograph on the application form. The photograph must be scanned and saved in the JPEG/JPG format only. The file size of the scanned image must be at least 20KB and not more than 30KB. Pareeksha Bhawan has also specified that the scanned photograph must be of the dimension 150 x 200 pixels.

It may also be noted that the scanned photograph must be taken against a plain background. Furthermore, one must note that as per the official notification, the scanned photograph must indicate the name of the candidate below it. In addition, the date of taking the photograph must also be indicated below the photograph. Candidates must note that the photograph must not be older than six months.

The direct link to register and apply online for the KTET May 2021 exam is active on the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can register online by clicking on the link on the official website before the last date. After registering, one can log in with the Application Number and Application ID generated for every successful registration. Candidates will be able to fill up the form and upload scanned images as well as pay the application fee online after logging in.

One must carefully read the notification and other instructions before filling up the application form. Care should be taken to ensure that the photograph is properly resized to 150 x 200 pixel. For this, candidates can simply Google the keywords online photo resizer/online photo editor, or use any offline application/photo editing software to resize the photo as per specifications. While saving the edited image, care should be taken that it is in the JPEG/JPG format only. Furthermore, candidates must also compress the image if required, to ensure that the maximum and minimum file size is not complied with.
