Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has conducted the KTET 2021 category 1 exam for today. As of now, leading coaching institutes like TOSS ACADEMY, TEACHER’S CORNER have published the answer keys on their respective youtube channels. The candidates who have appeared for the written examination can check the same to get an idea of the possible score and overall performance.
The category 1 exam was held in the offline mode i.e. pen and paper-based. The paper had questions in the English/Malayalam language and candidates got 2.5 hours to complete the test. The exam had 150 questions from subjects like child development & pedagogy, mathematics, environmental studies, language I (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada), and language II (English/Arabic).
While official answer keys are not available as of now, coaching institutes like St.Mary’s Learning Academy, Edu studio and Competitive Exams Library have also compiled the answer keys for Category 1 on the basis of the questions shared by the candidates. The expert faculties of these coaching institutes have also provided the answers for each question asked in the written exam.
The candidates can visit the official youtube channels of the coaching institutes to have a look at the answer keys. By Compared the answers therein with the answers marked. For each correct answer, add 1 mark. As there is no provision of negative marking hence no mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
Cut off of the exam is as follows: General category need to score at least 60% of the total marks i.e. 90 marks. While the SC, ST, OBC candidates need to score at least 55% of the total marks to qualify for the KTET 2021 exam.
As per the previous year stats, Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan releases the official answer key for the examination on the website once the exam of all categories is over. Based on the previous year’s timeline, it can be anticipated that the official answer key will be available around 12 to 13 days after the exam. This implies that the probable timeline for the release of the KTET Answer key is between September 16 to September 20, 2021
KTET exam is a teacher eligibility test conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan for providing eligibility certificates to successful candidates. Upon successfully qualifying for the exam, candidates will be eligible to apply for different teachers vacancies in government schools.
