Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has released the KMAT Kerala 2019 Result on 26 February at 5:25 PM. Candidates who have appeared for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) on 17 February can now download the result at kmatkerala.in. The university has released the result in the PDF format. It contains the candidates’ name and the rank as per the raw scores secured in the examination.
This year the exam took place at 29 centres of 12 districts in Kerala. The University of Kerala has published the rank card as per the students’ performance in the state level pen and paper-based test. Only candidates who have scored 107 or more are considered qualified for KMAT Kerala 2019. For SEBC and SC/ ST, the minimum qualifying marks are 72 and 54 respectively.
As notified in the Result PDF, a candidate raised an objection in the key. Which stated that the answer for Question number 66 should be “None of the options”. After evaluating the challenge, the claim found to be true. Hence this question 66 has been withdrawn from Question booklet Number 11119. Hence the totaling has been done for 179 questions ie out of 716 marks.
In the February session of KMAT session, 8597 number of candidates appeared for the examination. The last rank closed at 374. The toppers are Albert J Andoor, Rihana Reeza, Rafkhan with 493, 461, and 453 scores respectively. There are no tiebreakers and candidates with same scores are given the same rank.
The University of Kerala also releases the scorecard on the website. As per the official website, candidates will able to download the scorecard on March 01, 2019 and it is downloadable until the completion of MBA admission 2019. Students must download the result before the deadline as no request after this will be entertained. Aspirants also need to show the copy of KMAT result during the admission process as well.
Candidates who have qualified the examination can now prepare for the next round. The admission process includes KMAT Kerala Exam, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. The weight-age of these rounds are in the ratio 80:10:10. All the Kerala Mangement institutes shall follow this procedure only.
On the basis of Rank in the exam, candidates can now apply at the college accepting KMAT Kerala scores. For this, candidates need to check the official website of the institutes and check their closing rank and apply for the selection process. The application forms for the academic year are available at official websites only.
Candidates who have not appeared for KMAT Kerala can take admission to institutes of Kerala using the CAT 2018/ CMAT 2019 scores as well.
Previously, the University of Kerala released the Answer Key on 18 February. This year, only Question 66 was wrong and the rest of the key is same The exam body may also release the question paper of the 17 Feb exam soon.
Last year, the KMAT Kerala conducted two times a year. So, this year also it is expected the exam registration will open again for June session. Application Forms will be available at kmatkerala.in only.
