Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is closing the registration window for the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2019 on 31 January at 4 pm. Candidates interested in pursuing MBA from the state of Kerala must fill and submit the application form before the last date. The current registration is ongoing for the February session, for the June session registration shall start in the month of March.
The registration link for KMAT Kerala 2019 is available at kmatkerala.in. The application process for KMAT is a six-step process which includes registration, form filling, fee payment, document uploading, choosing of exam city, and print out of application form. The examination fee is Rs 750/- for SC/ ST candidates and Rs 1000/- for others. In the application form, only the photograph and signature in the proper format need to be uploaded.
In order to take admission to the institutes of Kerala, candidates can also apply via the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) scores. Such students do not need to fill the KMAT Kerala 2019 form, just fill the separate application form of the B-schools accepting CAT or CMAT scores. Candidates selected via KMAT/ CAT/ CMAT scores have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview as per the admission process of the colleges.
This year, the first session is scheduled to take place on February 17, 2019. It will be a 150 minutes exam with a total of 100 questions. The paper will be divided into four sections naming English Language & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge & Contemporary Business Scenario. Each section has 50, 50, 40, and 40 questions respectively. Practice previous year papers for the preparation of the exam.
In the exam, there is a negative marking of 1 marks for each incorrect answer.
Candidates who will successfully register for the KMAT Kerala examination will get the admit card for the exam day. It will release on the official website from February 06, onwards. Candidates will need application number and password to download the hall ticket. It is advisable that candidates download the admit card as soon as it releases to avoid inconvenience later.
On the admit card, candidates will find important details mentioning test venue, dates, and timing. Apart from that candidates must also read important exam rules. Moreover, candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet and submit it to the invigilator at the end of the exam. Candidates can also take a photocopy of filled answer sheet with them to cross-verify with the answer key releases by the university.
