As per various newspaper reports, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is going to announce KCET Result 2019 today. The reports have also confirmed that the candidates will be able to check their result online by 01:00 PM from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ or karresults.in.
The result date for KCET 2019 is as per newspapers and there is no official confirmation yet. Over a telephonic conversation with the ofifcials, it was said that the result is available for check on May 28, 2019, however, the newspaper report suggests otherwise.
However, as and when the result is announced. candidates can check it by visiting the official website of KEA. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for checking the result. Next, log in by entering the Registration number in the specified field. Click on the “Submit” button to check the result. Lastly, candidates can take a print out of their result for future reference.
KEA conducted Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) on April 29 and 30, 2019. The entrance exam is conducted for admission in government engineering and technology, Pharmacy colleges in the state. This year, a total of 1,94,311 students registered themselves for the test. The attendance for Biology, Maths, Physics and Chemistry papers varied from 79 percent to 92 percent.
In order to pass KCET 2019, the candidates need to obtain minimum 50% marks. However, the passing marks is 40% in the case of SC/ST Category in the PCB group.
It is to be noted that the candidates who have any objections in respect of any of the entries or issues or discrepancies in the result sheets, such as discrepancy / changes in the Q. E. marks, version code, NEET / NATA scores etc., except the marks secured in KCET 2019, can submit their objections within three days from the date of publication of the CET 2019 result and thereafter result will be published for such candidates with the necessary correction.
After the declaration of KCET 2019 Result, KEA publishes a merit list Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D. Furthermore, KEA assigns Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D ranks will be assigned to the eligible candidates.
Last year, a total of 1.5 lakh students appeared for the KCET exam. The result for KCET 2018 was declared on June 2. First rank was secured by Sridhar Dodamani from Vijayapura in engineering while Narayan Pai from Dakshina Kannada got the second rank.
