The education minister of Karnataka S Suresh Kumar has announced at his twitter account that Karnataka 2nd PUC results will not be declared today i.e. July 09, 2020. It has been confirmed that the 2nd PUC exam results will be declared by July 20, 2020. It was earlier speculated by various newspapers that the result for Karnataka 2nd PUC examination 2020 will be announced today.
However, ending the anxiety and the curiosity of many students, at his twitter account this morning the education minister wrote, “Many students are calling me to know whether Karnataka Second PUC Result will be announced today. I once again inform all that Second PUC results will come out around July 20, 2020.”

The students can check their Karnataka PUC result 2020 online at karresults.nic.in or pue.kar.nic.in. To check the result, the students have to visit any of these specified websites and then, will have to click on the relevant link of the result. Next, the students have to enter their registration number. After entering the details, the students will have to click on the ‘submit’ button. Finally, the students can download and take a printout of the result.
Apart from checking Karnataka 2nd PUC results 2020 online, the students can access their result via SMS. For checking the result via SMS, the students have to type KAR12REGISTRATION NUMBER and send it to 56263.
This year, almost 5.59 lakh students appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC examination 2020 for the English paper. Only the English paper was left to be conducted before the lockdown was imposed in the whole country due to the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The English paper of Karnataka 2nd PUC examination 2020 took place on June 18, 2020 at over 1000 centres across the state.
Last year, almost 6,71,653 students appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC examination. The total number of students who passed the examination were 4,14,987. The overall pass percentage was 61.73%. The girls outperformed boys last year and had the overall pass percentage of 68.24% whereas, the boys had the overall pass percentage of 55.29%.
Last year, students belonging to the rural area overshadowed the urban area students with an overall pass percentage of 62.88%. The pass percentage in urban area was 61.38%. Udupi district was at the first position with 92.2%.
