Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya has released the application form for the candidates of class 06. The registrations have been started from November 01, 2018. Candidates can fill the registration form at nvsadmissionclasssix.in. The last date to fill the form is November 30, 2018. Candidates will have to do the registrations until the last date. No registrations will be accepted after the last date.
The entire registration process will be held in two steps. First, the registration of personal details such as state, block, candidate’s name, date of birth, district name, school name, and the mobile number. After the phase-1 registration, the registration name and the password will be generated that can be used to log in the website later. The second step is uploading the photographs, scanned copy of the candidate’s signature, parent’s signature, class fifth certificates.
After the completion of the application process, the eligible candidates will get the admit card for the examination. It will be released on March 01, 2019. The admit card will be available online on the same website. To download the admit card, the candidates can submit the username/ registration name and the password. It can be downloaded free of cost.
The candidates will be eligible for the entrance exam. The JNV Selection Test will be held on April 06, 2019. On Saturday, the entrance exam will be conducted at 11:15 am. It will be held in the one phase of all the Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya.
After the completion of the exam, the candidates will be shortlisted. It will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the JNVST. The result will be announced by the last week of May 2019. The result will be displayed in the offices of the concerned JNV. Also, the candidates can check the result on the official website. To check the result from the website, the candidates will have to log in using the username/ registration number and the password.
The selection in the test will not vest any right on the candidates to secure admission into JNV. The actual admission will be done on the basis of the marks and if the student is having the valid documents or not.
Candidates are advised to apply for TC from the current school after the verification of the documents and the confirmation of the admission from the respective JNV.
Last year, over 20 lakh students had applied for the JNVST. This year, the number can be increased. There are a total of 626 JNV schools in the country in which 629 are functioning.
