Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the last date of submitting the application form for selection test of Class VI. Now, until December 15, 2018, the candidates will be able to register for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 2019. Due to some administrative reasons Samiti has extended the last date. The application form is available at http://www.navodaya.gov.in or http://www.nvsadmissionclassix.in. Previously, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Application Form 2019 submission last date was November 30, 2018.
The candidates can register for JNVs 2019 of free of cost. Before filling the form candidates should first read the Prospectus carefully. In the application form candidates should fill the correct details then only the form will be accepted by the conducting body.
To register for the test, the students need to visit the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Register online by entering the basic details such as, State in which the candidate is studying in Class V, District in which the candidate is studying in Class V, Name of the Candidate, etc. Once the registration part is done, the students need to fill in other necessary information such as Personal Details (including uploading of Images). It is further advised that you should keep the Scanned copy of Candidate’s Signature, Parent’s Signature, Candidate’s Photograph and Class V Certificate ready before filling up Personal details.
The candidates who will submit the application form on time i.e. before or till the last date for those candidates only JNVST 2019 Admit Card will be issued by the releasing authority. The admit card will be released be made available at the official website on March 01, 2019. By using online mode only candidates will be able to fetch their admit card.
The selection test of Class VI is scheduled to be conducted on April 06, 2019. On the day of the examination for all the candidates, it is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card. The test duration will be of 02 hours. A test will consist of 3 sections in objective type questions which will be asked.
About JNVs – In 1986 National Policy of Education Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) is situated in 28 States and 07 Union Territories. In JNVs education is of free cost including boarding, lodging, uniforms, and textbooks. A nominal fee of Rs. 600/- per month is collected from the students of Classes IX to XII only. The Government employees who are eligible for children education allowance have to pay Rs.1500/- per month. However, children belonging to SC/ST, Girls, Divyang and from families whose income is below poverty line (BPL) are exempted to pay the fee.
