JNUEE 2021 Application Form Released by NTA; Steps and Dates

Candidates must carefully read the eligibility, admission procedure, important dates, etc before applying. The last date for applying is August 27, 2021.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE 2021) yesterday. The last date and time for submitting the application form are August 27, 2021 up to 5 PM. Before starting with the application process, candidates are advised to go through the information bulletin that is available at jnuexams.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in.

How to Submit JNUEEE 2021 Application Form?

To know how to submit the application form, take a look at the steps below.

Step 1- Candidates must visit jnuexams.nta.ac.in and click on ‘JNUEE-2021 ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM’.

Step 2- This will take them to a new window where they have to click on ‘New Registration’.

Step 3- Read the various instructions and fee details, fill the checkbox and then click on the proceed button.

Step 4- After finding the registration form, complete the form by filling various personal details, address, password and security PIN. Note down the Application number for future reference.

Step 5- Complete the application form by providing the qualification details.

Step 6- Candidates will now have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. The file size for the photograph should be between 10kb and 200kb while that for the signature should be within 4kb and 30kb.

Step 7- Lastly, they have to pay the required application fees to complete the application process.

JNUEE 2021 Application Fee

The application fee differs category-wise. The fee payable by the General and EWS category students for Ph. D, M. Tech, MPH, MA, M. Sc, MCA and PGD courses is Rs 530 for one choice, Rs 800 for two choices and Rs 1000 for three choices. Similarly, SC/ST/PWD and OBC category students have to pay Rs 310 for one choice, Rs 415 for two choices and Rs 500 for three choices. Likewise, the BPL category students have to pay Rs 110 for one choice, Rs 215 for two choices and Rs 300 for three choices. 

For BA (Hons) and B. Sc-M. Sc integrated courses, General and EWS category students have to pay Rs 400 for one choice, Rs 575 for two choices and Rs 750 for three choices. The SC/ST/PWD and OBC category students will pay Rs 265 for one choice, Rs 325 for two choices and Rs 380 for three choices. Lastly, the BPL category students have to pay Rs 65 for one choice, Rs 125 for two choices and Rs 180 for three choices. Candidates who have not appeared for their qualifying examinations can also apply for JNUEE 2021. Details regarding the same are given on the E-Prospectus that can be downloaded from jnu.ac.in, jnuexams.nta.ac.in. 

JNUEEE Important Dates

The last date for successful transaction of fee is August 27, 2021 up to 11:50 PM. Any correction in the application form will be entertained within September 01 to 03, 2021. The dates scheduled for the examination are September 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2021. Candidates can start downloading their admit cards from September 08, 2021 onwards. The duration of the examination will be of 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours. The examination will be held in two sessions. The first session will begin from 9:30 AM and continue till 12:30 PM. On the other hand, the second session will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
