National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JNUEE 2019 Application Form on March 15, 2019. The application form has been released on the official website, ntajnu.nic.in. As per the public notice released by NTA over its official website, it will be conducting these two entrance exams from May 27 to 30, 2019.
NTA is conducting the JNU Entrance exam (JNUEE-2019) online, computer-based mode. Interested candidates can check the released information brochure for JNUEE and CEEB on its official website. It is advised to the candidates to apply for JNUEE 2019 as soon as possible and not to wait for the last date.
The minimum age limit to apply for BA (Hons.) programme is 17 years. Candidates need to fulfill the minimum marks requirement and course-specific eligibility criteria for JNUEE and CEEB 2019. The application process for both these exams has already started today on its official website. The last date to submit the application form is April 15, 2019, whereas the last date to submit the application fee is April 16, 2019.
Candidates need to complete the following 5 steps to apply successfully for JNUEE and CEEB – online registration, fill up the application form, upload the scanned documents, pay off the exam fees and download the confirmation page. As per the preference, a candidate will be able to fill 3 choices and the application fee varies across these choices.
For courses like Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Tech., MPH MA, MSc., MCA, PGDE, candidates need to pay Rs. 530 for 1 Choice, Rs. 800 for 2 Choice and Rs. 1000 for 3 Choice. Similarly, for these courses across SC/ST/Pw D & OBC category, a candidate needs to pay Rs.310 for 1 Choice, Rs. 415 for 2 Choice and Rs. 500 for Choice 3. Finally, for BPL category candidates, Rs. 110, Rs. 215 and Rs. 300 needs to be respectively paid for 1, 2 and 3 choices.
For BA (Hons.) 1st Year and all part time programmes, a candidate needs to pay Rs. 400, Rs.575 and Rs. 750 for general category candidates, opting their 1, 2 and 3 choices. For SC/ST/PwD & OBC candidates, Rs. 265, Rs. 325 and Rs. 380 needs to be paid for 1, 2 and 3 choice respectively. While Rs. 65, Rs. 125 and Rs. 180 needs to be paid by BPL candidates for their 1, 2 and 3 choices.
As per the application fee of CEEB is concerned, a General/OBC/EWS category candidate needs to pay Rs. 1000, SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidate needs to pay Rs. 500 and a foreign national candidate needs to pay Rs. 2880. The payment of this fee is only accepted via online payment gateways, namely Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking.
The candidates are offered admission to JNU on the basis of their performance in the All India Level Entrance Examination. The final selection is based upon the performance in the CBT for all programmes of study, except M.Phil. and Ph.D. Selection in M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates are called for Viva voce and final merit list for selection is made with 70% weightage for CBT score and 30% weightage for Viva.
After taking the responsibility of conducting various national level entrance exams such JEE Main, NEET, NCHM JEE, and UGC NET, etc the National Testing Agency (NTA) has also decided to conduct JNUEE 2019 and CEEB 2019.
