Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has joined hands with National Testing Agency (NTA) to hold JNUEE 2019. The examination will be held from May 27 to 30, 2019. The application form for JNU Entrance Examination 2019 will release on March 15, 2019. Along with the forms, the brochure and details about the exam will also be provided.
The director of the admission, JNU, Deepak Gaur disclosed to media that the application process for JNU Entrance Exam 2019 will end on April 15, 2019. After the lapse of the deadline, the application form correction window will open. The facility for application form correction will only be available from April 17 to 19, 2019. Candidates of respective courses will have to make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for each course before applying.
The application form for JNUEE 2019 will be available online, only on the official website admissions.jnu.ac.in and ntajnu.nic.in. In order to apply for JNUEE 2019, the candidates will first have to register and then fill details in the application form.
JNU has decided that the entrance exam will be held for UG, PG, M.Phil, and Ph.D admission in session 2019-2020. The exam shall only be conducted online and all the questions will be of multiple choice type. A total of 3383 seats will be filled through the exam and of these 1043 seats will be for M.Phil and Ph.D course.
For M.Phill and Ph.D admission, the University will first consider the score in the exam and on the basis of it, the candidates will be called for viva. The viva will begin from June 10 and the merit list will be released on June 8, 2019. Courses in which there shall be no viva, the merit list will be released on July 08, 2019.
This year, the exam will be held in 127 cities of India. Just like IIT, BHU, and Delhi University, the Jawaharlal Nehru University is also aiming to adopt digitalisation in its entrance examination process. JNU aspirants can expect too many changes this year. The rumours of fee hike are also keeping students awake at night. However, so far University has not addressed it yet.
JNUEE is a national level examination. Until now, it was held offline mode. JNU used to conduct the exam on its own. However, now the National exam body has been handed over the responsibility. NTA is also conducting NEET, JEE Main 2019, CMAT, GPAT, etc. but this is for the first time when NAT will be holding an entrance exam for University admission. Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the most sought University in India. Aspirants of UG, PG, and higher degree courses look forward to getting admission in JNU.
