JMI Application Form 2019 for B.Tech and B.Arch Released; Apply Before 30 March

Recently, Jamia Millia Islamia has started its application process for B.Tech & B.Arch, on its official website http://www.jmi.ac.in. Earlier, this Central University used to conduct an UG engineering entrance exam, known as JMI EEE for this purpose. From the academic session 2019-20, JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 marks are going to be taken into account for admission into B.Tech and B.Arch courses, respectively. The last date to submit online form for both these courses is March 30, 2019.

Further, the University is said to open a JMI Application form correction window from 31 March to 03 April, 2019. A registration slip is issued to all the applicants between April 15 – 25, 2019, mentioning all the JEE Main and JMI 2019 Application form details. And the details printed on it, can be rectified till May 05, 2019. No corrections will be corrected, after this date.

For B.Tech courses, a candidate needs to be 10+2 PCM pass with at least 55% of marks in average or should have pursued a Diploma in Engineering with the same minimum marks requirement, for a duration of 3-4 year from a recognised institute. While for B.Arch admission, a candidate needs to pass Class 12 with 50% of marks in PCM or should have passed a 3 year diploma course with Maths, as a core subject with 50% in aggregate. Interested candidates, fulfilling these criteria can fill the online application and submit an application fee of Rs. 550/ plus bank charges in online mode.

Candidates are advised to keep Email id, Mobile no, Scanned photo, Scanned signature and Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card related details handy, prior to applying online. The scanned images should be in .jpeg format and should not be more than 100 kb in size. Candidates need to go through and complete all the 6 application steps for JMI B.Tech and B.Arch 2019 admission, namely registration, choice of course, fill personal and contact details, upload documents, review your form and make payment of the application fee. Once the form has been submitted by a candidate, over the dashboard area, a candidate can check their application status.

Currently, Jamia Millia Islamia University offers B.Tech courses for 8 semesters in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Comm Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. And B.Arch courses for 5 year duration in B.Arch and B.Arch (Self Finance). Candidates, if belonging to any of the following reserved categories can apply for the quota but must have a proof of the same – General, Muslim, Muslim OBC/ST, Muslim Women, Jamia Internal and PWD (Person with Disability).
