Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has released Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) Application Form on February 01, 2019 in online mode. JKCET 2019 is an entrance examination conducted for the students who want to take admission in B.E./ B.Tech Programs in government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKCET 2019 is scheduled to be held on April 28, 2019. In order to take the common entrance test, it is compulsory for the candidates to fill the application form. Candidates can submit the form only in online mode. To avoid the end minute hassle, candidates should fill the application form before or till the last date which is, February 28, 2019. Before proceeding to fill the application form, candidates should carefully go through the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have completed 10+2 in order to be eligible for B.E./ B.Tech courses.
To fill the application form of JKCET 2019, candidates have to visit the official website, http://www.jkbopee.gov.in. Candidates need to click on the option “Click here to fill application form”. Then, enter your personal details like Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Date of Birth, Gender, Educational Qualifications, and Contact Details.
After filling the application form, pay the application fee of Rs. 1200/- by entering your details like application no, Date of birth and verification code. The fee payment can be done through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. Thereafter, upload the necessary documents such as a photograph, signature, Thumb Impression, Domicile certificate, Date of birth proof, Marksheets and category certificate (If applicable). Lastly, take the print out of the application form for future reference.
Students should upload the documents as per the required specifications to avoid the rejection of the application form. The scanned documents should be in JPEG format and all the certificates should be in PDF format. The size of the photograph, signature and thumb impression should vary between 10-50 KB. The size of the documents should range from 100-200 KB.
Candidates must note that there shall be no option to edit the JKCET 2019 Application Form after submission, So, students should fill the form wisely and submit it after verifying all the details. After the filling of application form, candidates will be able to check their status of the form by which they will get to know whether their application form has been rejected or accepted.
As all the Common entrance test is around the corner, candidates should be thorough with the exam pattern in order to start their preparation accordingly. It will be a single exam which will consist of 3 papers, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. From each section, there will be 60 questions. So, there is going to be a total of 180 questions in the exam. There is also negative marking in the pen and paper-based exam. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score. So, candidates should attempt all the questions wisely.
