The Agalsem team contacted the officials at their helpline number regarding the JEECUP 2019 result declaration date. As per the telephonic conversation with the officials, it has been notified that the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh is going to declare the result for UP Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE(P)-2019) on June 28, 2019.
Candidates will be able to check their UP Polytechnic Result 2019 online at jeecup.nic.in or jeecup.org. To check the result, on the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for checking the result. Next, the candidates have to login by entering their roll number and date of birth. Submit the login detail and in the next screen, candidate’s can check their result.
The scorecard for JEECUP 2019 consists of personal details of the candidate, and exam details such as candidate’s name, roll number, group name, parent’s name, category, gender, state, total marks obtained, result status, i.e qualified for counselling or not, etc.
In order to qualify the test, the candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks as decided by the council. The cut-off marks set the benchmark and only those candidates are declared as qualified and eligible to participate for counselling who obtain marks equal to or greater than the cutoff marks.
The UP Polytechnic 2019 entrance exam was conducted on May 26, 2019. The entrance exam took place at 931 centers and 4,36,715 candidates appeared for the test. As many as 17,453 numbers of students in Lucknow also appeared for the test.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) was founded in the year 1986-87. Its main office is located in Lucknow. The UP JEECUP board is regulated under the Society Act, 1860 and is formed to conduct and execute the admission process in various colleges and universities in UP state. Amongst the many responsibility of the Council, one of them is to conduct the state level entrance exam i.e. UPJEE (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination) or UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam. The entrance test is conducted in association with Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE), to screen aspirants for admission to Polytechnic institutions in diploma, post-diploma and PG diploma programs in engineering, technology and management fields.
