JEECUP 2019 Exam Re-scheduled; Last Date to Submit Form Extended till 31 Mar

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has rescheduled the exam date for JEECUP 2019. The entrance exam which was scheduled to be conducted on April 28, 2019, has now be rescheduled and will be conducted on May 26, 2019. Furthermore, the council has also extended the last date for submitting the JEECUP 2019 Application Form and form correction as well.

The candidates can now submit the JEECUP Application Form 2019 till March 31, 2019. The window for form correction will now open on April 01, 2019 and the last date to edit details in the JEECUP 2019 Online form is April 04, 2019.

The application form is released on the official website, jeecup.nic.in. The form was released on December 20, 2019. The last date to submit the JEECUP 2019 Application Form was earlier February 28, 2019, which was then further extended to March 14, 2019, and has been extended again. The date for JEECUP 2019 Application Form Correction has also been extended twice now.

The Council has not yet specified any reason for rescheduling the dates for JEECUP 2019. However, it is expected that the Council may reschedule the exam date due tot he forthcoming Loksabha Elections. Though the exam date was not clashing with the Loksabha election schedule, however, these Polytechnic colleges are used as the polling station, hence, it could be one of the reasons for rescheduling of JEECUP 2019 exam date.

The window for JEECUP 2019 Form Correction will be open for only those candidates who submitted their Application Form before the last date with complete payment of Application Fee. The candidates can avail the facility of the JEECUP Form correction by online mode only.

To edit details in the JEECUP Application Form 2019, the candidates will have to visit the official website of exam. On the homepage of the website, the candidates will then have to click on the relevant link for editing details in the JEECUP 2019 Application Form. In the next screen, the applicants need to log in by entering their Application Number and Password. Submit the login details and then proceed to edit details in the Application Form.

In the Application Form Correction window, the candidates will be able to edit only a few details only. The applicants shall be able to edit details such as their Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, and Qualifying Examination Details.

The correction in the JEECUP Form is to be done by online mode only. Request for making changes in some details in the JEECUP Application Form by post/ fax will not be accepted. It is a one-time opportunity which is provided to the candidates to edit details in their Application Form. After the last date for JEECUP Form Correction is over, the candidates will not be allowed to edit the form.

After the window for JEECUP Form Correction closes. the Council will then issue the JEECUP 2019 Admit Card to the registered candidates. It will be available for download from the 03rd week of April 2019. It will be issued online and can be downloaded by entering Application Number and Password. No hard copy of the JEECUP Admit Card 2019 is sent to the candidates by post/ courier.

The UP Joint Entrance Examination is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode, i..e it is a pen-paper based test. UPJEE (Polytechnic) hall have one paper for each group having 100 objective type questions.
