National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the facility for JEE Main 2019 Form Correction on March 11, 2019. The application form correction facility is open for both January and April session candidates. The candidates edit details in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form by online mode only at jeemain.nic.in. The last date to make corrections in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form is March 15, 2019.
The April session candidates can edit all the details in the JEE Main 2019 Online Form, except for Test City. The candidates should note that the editing of details in the Application Form particulars can be done only once.
The Candidates of JEE Main January 2019 as well as JEE Main April 2019 Examination(s), who come under EWS category as per the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, can mention such category in the Online Application Form Correction window. The EWS Category Certificate is not to be uploaded in the JEE (Main) Portal. However, the candidates will require it at the time of filling up of the application for JEE (Advanced).
To edit the details in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form, the aspirants need to visit the official website of JEE Main. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the “Login for Correction” button. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering their Application Number and Password. Submit the details and then in the next screen, click on the “Correct Application Form Particulars” button. Next, the candidates should read all the instructions very carefully and should then proceed to edit details.
The additional fee can be paid between March 11 to 16, 2019 (11:50 PM).
After the candidates have made the necessary change in the JEE Main 2019 Application Form particulars, the changes will be updated immediately if there is no additional fee required based on the changes in particulars. In case an additional Examination Fee is required to be paid based on the changes in Application Form particulars, then the final updation of correction(s) in Application Form Particulars will be done only after the successful payment of additional amount of Examination Fee. The additional amount is to be paid by Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI/e-Challan.
On the basis of the details provided, a candidate will be then issued JEE Main 2019 Admit Card on March 20, 2019, at its official website, jeemain.nic.in. On the day of the exam, candidates necessarily need to carry a valid photo id proof, PWD certificate (if applicable) and 1 copy of the photograph uploaded, along with a printed copy of this admit card issued online.NTA makes this one time, a final facility available to all the candidates so that a candidate can rectify some of the mistakes committed at the time of form filling. Candidates need to avoid providing wrong details, must not skip uploading any documents, must opt for their desired paper choice correctly, avoid spelling/typing errors and should label the documents, wherever needed.
Joint Entrance Examination is all set to be conducted by NTA between April 7 to 20, 2019, in two shifts for B.Tech / B.E / B.Arch / B.Plan admission to various NITs, CFTIs, IIITs, and other such prestigious institutes. While the timing for JEE Main April 2019 Shift 1 is 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and for Shift 2, it is 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. This is the 2nd attempt of this national level examination which even serves as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced.
