National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 session 3, day 2 exam. The exam got over at 06:00 pm. As per the students, who appeared for the exam, the paper was overall moderate in the level of difficulty and was mostly NCERT based.
The physics section was a bit moderate to tough, as questions demanded calculation. Most of the questions were from the class 12th syllabus and were application based.
On the other hand, Maths and Chemistry sections were easy. In chemistry, most of the questions were asked from inorganic and were easy. Direct NCERT questions were asked in this section. The weightage of the class 11th class was fairly high in this section.
In physical chemistry, there were more numerical type questions that were also easily solvable.
Though Maths questions were not too tough to solve but they were time-consuming and lengthy. Due to this, it was a bit challenging for the candidates to manage their time.
Overall, the paper was easier in comparison to the March session. When compared to the 20 July exam, the 22 July exam was easier than the 2nd shift.
Questions in JEE Main 22 July 2021 Exam Were Asked From:
Maths: Calculus, mathematical reasoning, statistics, etc.
Physics: Semiconductor, NLM, etc.
Chemistry: Inorganic chemistry, environmental chemistry, polymers, biomolecules, etc.
At the exam center, all the COVID guidelines for the exam were followed. The students had to follow social distancing and cooperate with the staff at the exam center.
Today, there was no exam for JEE Main in shift 1. NTA did not allocate shift to any student, probably due to the pandemic and to avoid clashing of multiple entrance exams. The next exam of JEE Main 2021 session 3 is now scheduled to be held on July 25, 2021.
