JEE Main 2022

Is JEE Main notification 2022 delayed? When will the JEE Mains 2022 application form be released?

All of these burning questions are been asked by JEE Main aspirants on different social media platforms. The official brochure of JEE Main exam was scheduled to be released in December 2021 or the early weeks of January 2022. However, as of now, there is no official update for when the notification will be released. The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the official website of NTA to get all the latest updates regarding the JEE Main exam.

Now that the JEE Main 2022 exam notification is delayed, students are anxious to know if the first session of JEE Main has also been postponed. Although there is no official announcement regarding the postponement of JEE Main 2022 the prevailing situation of COVID-19 suggests the deferment. The first session of JEE Main was expected to be held in February 2022 but now sources suggest that it shall be held in May or June 2022. Although nothing is official as of now it is highly anticipated that the agency will soon come with an official notice for this.

The news of JEE Main postponement has been doing the rounds since this year started. The major reason put forth by the sources was the assembly election that is due in at least 5 states. A lot of big exams such as KVPY, state-based board exams have already been pushed further for smoothly carrying out all the events. However, with the rapid rise in the covid-19 pandemic cases since the first week of January 2022, analysts are confirmed that the agency will shelve the examination to a future date. Now, the candidates and parents are also asking to defer the exam dates till the pandemic is subsidized.

JEE Main examination is conducted annually to choose deserving candidates for providing admission to B.Tech courses in different NIT and MNIT colleges. Also, those candidates who successfully ace the exam will stand a chance to participate in the JEE Advanced exam.
