For JEE Main April 2020 registered candidates, National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the facility to change exam centre city. Candidates can change the center online, from jeemain.nta.nic.in. Last date to make the changes is April 14, 2020. Through a public notice, NTA disclosed that due to COVID-19 students across India are facing difficulty. Hence, it is providing one more change to update the center details.
To update JEE Main 2020 exam center, candidates need to login by entering application number with password and change details from the dashboard. Corrections can be done up to 5.00 Pm on the last day and fee can be paid until 11.50 pm on the same day, if applicable.
If in case, any fee is applicable then the candidates can remit it via net banking or credit / debt card. UPI and Paytm can be also used.
As per the corrections and the final data submitted, the admit card of JEE Main 2020 will be issued. Therefore the filling and correction of the online form must be done seriously as no further chances of form correction will be provided by NTA.

The notice further states that NTA will be making all possible arrangements to allot the students the exam center in the city if their choice. The students need to choose 4 exam cities in the online application fork of JEE Main 202 in order of their preference. Under extraordinary circumstances, NTA might allot the exam center in the less preferred city.
Earlier this month, NTA has reopened the application form correction facility for the candidates. Then, candidates can could edit all the details but exam centers. However, now the facility to edit exam city is also available.
JEE Main 2020 second exam is scheduled to be held across 233 cities in the states and UTs of India. There are 9 exam cities available outside India too. The allotment of the exam center is done via the JEE Main 2020 admit card only.
The admit is also issued online under the respective logins of the students. With the uncertainty in the exam dates of JEE Main 2020, the admit card release date also remains uncertain. As per the notice dated March 31, 2020, NTA notified that JEE Main 2020 second exam will be held in the last week of May 2020, and admit card issuance will be done after April 15, 2020, based on the situations.
On March 18, NTA announced for the first time that it is postponing JEE Main 2020 until further notice and that the new dates will be available on March 31, 2020. On March 31, 2020, with no clarity in the COVID-19 situation, NTA postponed the exam until 4th week of May 2020.
JEE Main is held twice a year at a national level. The first attempt of JEE Main 2020 was in January that was held smoothly in 2 shifts on January 06, 07, 08, 09, 2020. In the first attempt, 9,21,261 candidates took the B.E / B.Tech paper. The second attempt was scheduled to be held on April 05, 07, 08, 09, 11, 2020 which now stands postponed due to COVID-19 pandemics.
National Testing Agency started to hold JEE Main since 2019 in a completely online mode. From 2020, it changed the exam pattern and introduced numerical value type questions in the exam. The number of papers was increased to 3 from 2 by separating the B.Arch and B.Plan paper.
