The Application Form of JEE Main 2019 April exam is available at jeemain.nic.in until March 07, 2019. The last date to make payment of the application fee is March 08, 2019. NTA has also given the provision to check the JEE Main 2019 Application Form Status. The candidates can check whether or not their application fee payment is successful using this facility.
If the application fee payment status is ‘OK’ this means that the application form has been successfully submitted. If the application fee payment status is not ‘OK’ this means that the transaction is cancelled and the application form has yet not been submitted. NTA accepts no application form unless the payment is complete.
To check the application fee status the candidates need to log in using their application number and password at jeemain.nic.in.
What To Do If The Application Fee Status Is Not OK?
If the JEE Main 2019 application fee status is shown as not ‘OK’, this certainly indicates the application form is yet not been accepted by NTA. The failure of the application fee payment might be due to many reasons like internet issues, session time out, bank server issues etc. However, in this case, the candidate needs to make the application fee payment again.
But, candidates can also wait for an hour or so and check the status again. If the status of application fee payment is still shown as not ‘OK’ proceed to make the fee payment again and ensure that the fee Payment status is shown as ‘OK’.
The failed transaction will be refunded by the Bank to your account within 15 days of the payment made. Say, if a candidate makes fee payment on March 08, 2019 the fee payment will be refunded by March 23, 2019.
What To Do If The Application Fee Status Is Not OK, And You Have Paid The Fee Using The E-Challan Facility?
If you fall in this category where you have made the fee payment in the bank in cash using the e-challan and the status is yet shown not ‘OK’, visit the respective bank immediately and inform about the status change. Check again after a few hours if the status has been changed or not.
