National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2019 application forms for the April attempt over jeemain.nic.in. The candidates need to fill the form online and submit the same in the online mode. The last date to apply for JEE Main 2019 second attempt is March 07, 2019.
JEE Main 2019 application fee for each category and gender is separate, that needs to be paid in online mode i.e either via using Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/e-Challan facility. Candidates appearing in any one of paper needs to pay Rs. 500 for a boy candidate and Rs. 250 for a girl candidate. Whereas for PwD, SC, ST, Transgenders category candidate, the application fee is Rs.250.
To fill the application form, the candidates need to visit jeemian.nic.in. Thereafter they need to authenticate themselves using the authentication form. After the authentication form is filled, the candidates will get their JEE Main 2019 Application number. The candidates have to keep the application number safe for all future logins.
After the authentication is done the application form appears on the screen. To fill the application form the candidates have to complete the sections of the application form that are Personal Details, Exam related detail, Mailing Address Details, Academic Details, Guardian Details, and Account Details.
On the next stage, the candidates need to upload their scanned images of the passport sized photos and signature. lastly, the payment option is made available. The candidates have to remit the fees using the online mode or the e-challan.
The candidates who have registered for the January Exam can use their January Registration Details to register for the April Exam
The JEE Main 2019 April exam will be held between April 06 – 20, 2019. Now, the exact dates will be revealed by NTA, once the application process is over. As per the January attempt, one day will be dedicated to the paper 2 exam and the other days will be available for the paper 1 exam.
The exam will be held in online mode and there will 2 shifts per day. JEE Main 2019 April exam is like a second attempt for the candidates who have already appeared in the first attempt in January. Also, the candidates who were unable to appear in the January exam due to any reason can register for JEE Main 2019 April exam.
Tips for the April attempt: For the January attempt, 9,29,198 had registered for Paper 1 and 8,74,469 had appeared in the exam. 15 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the first attempt. The toppers of JEE Main 2019 January attempt say that solving mock tests will help to get used to the online mode of the exam.
In addition to that, solving the previous years’ question papers will also give mileage. In January attempt many questions were repeated from the previous years.
