JEE Main 2019 Admit Card Release Time; NTA to Start Downloading Process at jeemain.nic.in login

JEE Main 2019 Admit Card

Engineering aspirants around the national are awaiting for JEE Main 2019 Admit Card. National Testing Agency (NTA) has to issue admit card today, on December 17, 2018. While the candidates are anxiously looking for the admit card, numerous newspapers and website are providing unofficial timing for the release of hall ticket.

This is creating confusion among the students who are visit jeemain.nic.in again and again, in hopes to get their JEE Main 2019 admit card. The timing thread started with Google Notification appearing early morning on the mobile screen, which read JEE Main 2019 Admit Card – 9:00 am to 10:00 am. After this, the social media and internet was flushed with JEE Main 2019 admit card timing, which is updating every other hour. Earlier, the news suggested that the admit card was releasing between 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm and now there are reports that it will be available after 6:00 pm.

It is to be noted that NTA has not given any particular time for the release of the JEE Main admit card. Until now, NTA has been very particular about activating the login for events of JEE Main. The application form, exam city, exam center and other details of the exam were all announced at the midnight of the due date. Hence, it was expected that the admit card of JEE Main will also be released at night or early morning of December 17, 2018.

Last year, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) release it in evening, at 7:00 pm. Releasing the JEE admit card for such huge number of candidates (9.65 lakh approx) is a task. The authority do cross check to make sure that the admit card is released with correct details, for all the deserving candidates. Hence, it takes a little time to issue the hall ticket. 

Candidates should not worry. NTA will release JEE Main admit card 2019 by the end of the day. It will be released at jeemain.nic.in and not nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, candidates will have to access admit card login on the official website and enter application number and password. The admit card is a mandatory document at the exam hall. With it, passport size photo and id proof should also be carried. 

JEE Main 2019 examination will only be held online. All the questions in the exam will be of MCQ type. The duration of the exam is 03 hours. Paper 1 consists of questions from topics such as Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry, whereas Paper 2 is divided into three parts – Part I consist of questions from Mathematics, Part II has questions from Aptitude Test, and Part III will be a Drawing Test. The medium of Question Paper shall be in English, Hindi, and Gujarat.

As far as the marking scheme is concerned, for every correct answer, the candidates will get +4 marks and also there is a negative marking. Hence, for an incorrect response, -1 marks will be deducted.

JEE Main 2019 is a national level engineering entrance examination. For the first time NTA is conducting it, only in online mode. The Agency is holing the exam twice a year, in January and April. There will be two papers for JEE Main 2019 – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The candidates who wish to take admission in B.E. / B. Tech programs will have to appear for Paper 1, whereas, those who wish to take admission in the B. Arch / B.Planning need to appear for Paper 2. The candidates can appear for either of the two or both as well.
