IIT Roorkee has started the online registration process for JEE Advanced 2019. The registration process has been started for Foreign national candidates only. The candidates can fill and submit the form from the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. For JEE (Main) 2019 qualified candidates, JEE Advanced 2019 registration starts from May 03, 2019.
Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized), and do not belong to OCI/PIO category, furthermore, whose parents are not citizens of India and do not come under OCI/PIO category at the time of registering for JEE (Advanced) 2019 are treated as foreign nationals.
Foreign national candidates are not required to apply for JEE Main 2019 and can register for JEE Advanced 2019 subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria. It is important to note that the Identity proof of both the parents and the candidate is required in the form of citizenship certificate/Passport.
If a candidate wishes to appear for JEE Advanced 2019 for Examination Centres in India, then he/she has to pay an amount of USD 75 for candidates from SAARC countries, whereas, the registration fee is, USD 150 for candidates from Non-SAARC countries. The registration fee for examination centers in foreign countries, the candidates need to pay USD 75 for candidates from SAARC countries, and USD 150 for candidates from Non-SAARC countries.
There are three (03) steps to apply for JEE Advanced 2019- Fill in details in the registration form, upload necessary documents, and lastly pay the registration fee. First, the candidates need to visit the official website of the exam. Then, the candidates need to fill in their Personal details, Academic details of Class 12th, communication address of the candidate. In the registration form, the candidates need to select a test center for JEE Advanced 2019.
Once the candidates have filled in details in the JEE Advanced 2019 Application Form, they can proceed to the next step which is uploading of necessary documents as per the format and specification. The foreign national candidates have to upload their photo, signature, Class 10th certificate or Birth Certificate, Class 12th marksheet, Identity Proof of the Candidates, Passport of Mother, Passport of Father. The images are to be uploaded in jpg format only.
The last and final step for JEE advanced 2019 registration is to pay the required amount of the fee by either online mode or by offline mode. The admit card for JEE Advanced 2019 is issued only to those candidates who have successfully completed all the three steps of JEE (Advanced) 2019 registration. The applicants can pay the registration fee for JEE Advanced 2019 by Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking or by Cash using SBI Branch Option.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) forms the basis for admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering,
Sciences or Architecture. JEE Advanced 2019 is a computer-based test scheduled to be held on May 27, 2019. The examination will be held in India and abroad, in two shifts.
