Jamia Millia Islamia has been announced result for class 11 admission 2017. JMI uploaded Arts stream Result on 13 June and for Commerce Stream Result on 14 June 2017. However, the result for Science stream will be announced later on.
The result in pdf file format containing list of provisionally selected candidates and waitlisted candidates. It is uploaded on the official website at jmi.ac.in. On reaching the official website, you shall select the result link highlighted as “click to check the admission result”. The system shall then prompt you to filter the details such as:-
- Session- where you will select July 2017- June 2018
- Programmes category- select school here
- Programme/Course- choose the stream from Arts or Commerce
Post furnishing the details, you will be available to see the names of the candidates who have been provisionally selected for admission to class 11th Arts and Commerce stream.
These candidates will have to complete the admission formalities from 28th June 2017 to 29th June 2017.
You are advised to carry the following documents at the time of admission:-
- 6 recent photographs
- Statement of marks
- Birth Certificate for proof
- Character Certificate
- Self declaration form duly filled and signed by the candidate
- Category Certificate if seeking reservation
- Transfer Certificate
Statistics of 2017
In Arts Section a total of 148 candidates have been selected for admission in 3 schools of Jamia. Out of these, 37 candidates are to fill the seats in Jamia Senior Secondary School, 81 students for Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School and only 30 students to fill seats in Jamia Girls Senior Secondary Schools. An overwhelming of 810 candidates have been put in waitlist.
In Commerce Section a total of 67 candidate have been selected for admission in 2 schools of Jamia. Out of these, 42 candidates are to fill the seats in Jamia Senior Secondary School, 25 students for Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School. Apart from that, a massive 1213 candidates have been put in the list of watlsted candidates.
