The Jail Prahari recruitment was announced in 2015, however, the examination was canceled. Then, in 2017, candidates got some solace when Sardar Patel University of Police confirmed that the examination for Jail Prahari Recruitment will be held this year. After such a long wait, the admit card for Jail Prahari recruitment is finally releasing tomorrow, i.e. on August 20, 2017. The Department has organized the written examination of Jail Prahari Recruitment from August 26 to September 14, 2017. The Sardar Patel University of Police, Security, and Criminal Justice will conduct the computer-based examination in three shifts.
Earlier the examination was conducted in pen and paper-based, but somehow the question paper got leaked and the exam was canceled immediately. Cases of the paper leak have increased in number and this case too showed how vulnerable is the security system of the exam authority.
In the paper leak case, the police arrested 14 candidates from Jhotwara, Bhankrota and other places. It will be easy for the department to resume the long stuck recruitment and organize the examination through the online medium as there are fewer chances of leaking the questions this time. The post of Jail Prahari in the department are vacant and due to which the department has to struggle with a lot of problems.
The admit card for the candidates will be uploaded on the University website at http://www.policeuniveristy.ac.in on August 20, 2017. Candidates can check all the instructions for examination along with the admit card only. It is important that candidates should bring the admit card for Jail Prahari, identity proof and a passport size photograph at the examination center.
Candidates who wish to practice for the online test and understand the exam pattern can take an online mock test on the official website of the University. The Mock Test Link will be activated on July 28, 2017. Examinations will be conducted in 10 different cities of Rajasthan. It is necessary for the candidates to reach the examination centre before the examination begins. Candidates who will report late at the centre will not be allowed to sit for the test.
Since it’s been a long time that the candidates filled the forms, the University will upload the Application ID, Photograph, Group, through the notification on its official website on August 20, 2017. However, if the candidate has any issues pertaining to the admit card, contact the authorities at the following Helpline Number: 0291-3062014.
