The Admission notification for admission to DTU, NSIT, IGDTUW, IIITD is to be released by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi 2019 in the second week of May 2019. In a notice released it has been stated that the detailed information about eligibility required, admission procedure and seat reservation will be released for admission to the four premier universities of Gov of NCT of Delhi.
Now, to elaborate the JAC 2019 is a counselling process conducted for granting admission to the qualifiers of JEE Main 2019. The four universities that take admission in the field of B.Tech and B.arch through JAC are Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIT-D), and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).
In order to participate in JAC 2019, to pursue B.E./B.Tech. course at NSIT, IGDTUW and DTU a candidate must have passed 10+2 with 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
However, to pursue B.Tech from IIIT-D the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 80% or more marks in the aggregate of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
Further, In order to pursue B.Arch. course at IGDTUW a minimum 50% marks is required in class 12th with Mathematics and English as a compulsory subject. Also, he/she must have a rank in JEE Main 2019 (paper 1) to be able to apply for any of the above-mentioned university or course.
How to register for JAC 2019?
To register for JAC 2019 candidate needs to visit jacdelhi.nic.in. A registration fee amount of .Rs. 1400 has to be paid after which a password will be received by the candidate. Now, before starting to register candidates will have to submit their JEE Main 2019 Roll Number, Password and Security Pin.
In the JAC Delhi 2019 Application Form, the candidates will be required to submit the personal, educational and other details. Only after which hey will be able to take part n the selection process of JAC 2019.
Further, During the selection process, the choices submitted by the candidates will be processed centrally and seats will be allotted in the order of merit on the basis of the locked choices. The allotment result will be available on the website only.
