Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will declare ISC Class 12 result on or before July 15, 2020. The students who appeared for the class 12th examination can check the result online at cisce.org. In order to check it, candidates have to enter their index number, course name and UID number.

On July 3, the Council has released the new assessment scheme for the cancelled ISC papers 2020. There are three (03) factors as per which the board will prepare the result for the subject for which exam has been cancelled. These are –

# The student’s average marks in the best three subjects in which they have appeared will be taken into consideration.

# The total marks of the students in the project and practical work of a particular subject shall be considered.

# Another point that will be considered is the percentage of marks obtained by the students in the Project & Practical work of that subject.

It must be noted according to the press release published by CISCE, the remaining papers of ISC Class 12 which were supposed to take place from July 01 – July 14, 2020, have been cancelled due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

The candidates can check their respective ISC exam result 2020 by first visiting the official website, cisce.org. Then, candidates have to enter their UID, index number, and course. After entering all the details, the candidates have to click on the ‘Show Result’ button. After clicking on the show result button, the students result will get displayed on the screen.

The students can also check their class 12th result via SMS. To get the result on the respective mobile number, the candidates have to send the following message: Type ISC and send it to 09248082882.

To be declared as qualified, the students need to obtain minimum passing marks. The qualifying marks have been reduced from 40% to 35% by the Council from the year 2018 onwards. Once the result is declared, students can download their mark sheets of class 12 from Digilocker. For this, the students shall have to first download the app of Digilocker. Then, they have to set up the account and enter their e-mail and password to get the mark sheet.

Last year, the result for ISC examination for Class 12th was released on May 07, 2019. A total of 86,713 students appeared for the Class 12th ISC examination. Out of these total numbers, 39,964 were female candidates and 46,749 were male candidates. The pass percentage for the year 2019 was 96.52%.
