All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) recently issued a notice announcing the tentative seats for INI CET 2022 examination. The Institute of National Importance Common Entrance Test (INI CET) 2022 examination is all set to be held on November 14, 2021, through the online CBT mode. Admit cards for the same have already been released on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Days ahead of the exam, authorities released a notice with tentative seats for each course offered by reported institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMIST.
According to the public notice, approximately, 830 seats are going to be filled based on the INI CET 2022 results. These seats are subject to reservation for candidates belonging to OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. Apart from PGIMER Chandigarh, AIIMS has released the total number of tentative seats in each college. For PGIMER, authorities will be releasing a separate list of tentative seats in due course of time.

As evident in the table above, AIIMS New Delhi has the maximum number of seats for PG in medical sciences i.e., 198, followed by JIPMER Puducherry which may offer 115 seats to qualified candidates. Of course, seat allotment will not only be based on merit but also reservation. Clearly, there’s tough competition among students to acquire the highest rank and get a seat in a reputed college, for a specialty of their choice.
INI CET 2022 Category-based total tentative seats
As per the table given below, the INI CET 2022 examination will offer approximately 830 seats to those who qualify, based on various parameters. Out of the total seats, unreserved category candidates can only compete for 312 seats as the remaining have been reserved for other categories.

INI CET 2022 examination will be offering around 188 seats to the OBC category, 102 to SC, 50 to ST category, and 63 to EWS category candidates.
