Indian Navy has postponed the online application form for three big recruitments on December 14, 2018. The application form for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), Matric Recruit (MR) and Artificer Apprentice (AA) were supposed to be available on the official website of Navy, joinindiannavy.gov.in. And the application window was supposed to remain open until December 30, 2018. The notice for the postponement of the application has been shown on the website.
Although the forms are postponed, there are no firm dates when the application will open. The new dates for the application will be released through website and newspapers. The candidates have to regularly visit the official website for the recent information.
Indian Navy has released the notification of AA, SSR, and MR on December 05, 2018. A fair amount of vacancies are introduced for all three recruitment process. Total 3400 vacancies are distributed in among three, through AA Navy will provide entry to 500 cadets, and in MR there are 400 vacancies, while SSR has the largest amount of vacancies, 2500.
Who can fill the application form for which recruitment?
In all three processes, the eligibility criteria laid down by Navy is almost the same. Only unmarried male candidates are allowed, who fall in the age bar of 17 to 20 years. Apart from the age and marital status, the candidates have to fulfill the educational qualifications. Except for the Matric Recruit, the candidates should have passed the class 12th, and for MR the minimum qualification is class 10th. In AA and SSR the candidates should have studied at least one subject of the Maths/ Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
How the application form can be filled?
The application form can be accessed through the “candidate Login” section on joinindiannavy.gov.in. The candidates have to first register themselves. For registering them they need to have any valid id proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Voter Id card etc.
For Indian Navy AA, and SSR the candidate has to pay the examination fee of Rs. 205/- by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking Details. But for MR the candidates don’t have to pay the examination fee.
