The Indian Coast Guard will be accepting application forms for Yantrik and Navik recruitment till today, i.e. January 14, 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can check every necessary detail from the official website – joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. This time, a total of 260 vacancies will be filled for the Navik posts and 27 for the Yantrik posts. Candidates must carefully note the eligibility criteria and other details before submitting the application forms.
Yantrik
The applying candidate must be between 18 to 22 years. In other words, they must be born between August 01, 2000, and July 31, 2004. However, candidates from SC and ST categories will get 5 years of age relaxation while the OBC category one will get 3 years of relaxation. In terms of educational qualification, the applicant must have passed class 10 with three years diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication (Radio/Power).

The application forms for this post have to be submitted online via the official website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. Before applying, they must ensure that they have a valid email ID and phone number. The documents that will be required during the application process are passport-size photo, signature, left thumb impression, date of birth, photo identity proof, class 10 mark sheet, etc.

Navik
For applying to Navik, the minimum age limit is 18 years while the maximum is 22 years. However, candidates from SC and ST categories will get 5 years of age relaxation while the OBC category one will get 3 years of relaxation. The essential education qualification is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 standard with Mathematics and Physics along with 50% aggregate marks.
Similar to Yantrik, the mode of submitting online applications is online. The applying candidate has to visit the official website – joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and register themselves using the email ID or phone number. Please note that one can apply to any one post, i.e. either Navik (DB) or Navik (GD). After that, they have to upload the scanned copies of the required documents and pay the application fee.

Selection
Candidates applying to these posts must note that there will be multiple stages over which the recruitment examination will take place. To appear for these stages, the Indian Coast Guard will release the admit cards at least 2 to 3 days prior to the exam date. The training process is likely to start from August 2022.
