The Indian Army BSc Nursing Result 2019 has been announced by the Indian Army. The candidates can check their result by online mode only at the website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The result has been announced on March 25, 2019. The written test for Indian Army BSc Nursing 2019 entrance exam was conducted on January 13, 2019. The result was supposed to be out by the 01st week of March 2019, however, it got delayed.
The candidates will be able to check their result for Indian Army BSc Nursing online by visiting the official website of Indian Army. Then on the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the link which says “Notices For RVC, TA & MNS Entries” under Officers Selection tab. In the next screen, the candidates need to log on the relevant link for checking the result. The Indian Army BSc Nursing Result 2019 is available in the pdf format.
A total of 28348 candidates appeared for the written exam for Indian Army BSc Nursing Admission 2019. Out of these many candidates, only 498 number of candidates managed to qualify for the Interview round. The Interview is scheduled to be conducted on May 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, 2019.
The candidates who have been shortlisted for the Interview round, will have to report as per the schedule and need to bring along the necessary documents in proof of their age, educational qualification, etc. The final selection for Indian Army BSc Nursing admission will be done on the basis of Combined merit of Written Test & Interview, subject to medical fitness and vacancy in each College.
On the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination, they are offered admission to 4 years B Sc. (Nursing) Course at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates will be awarded admission in Colleges of Nursing based on the merit cum choice, subject to medical fitness and the vacancy in each College. Furthermore, the shortlisted candidates shall execute an Agreement/Bond to serve in the Military Nursing Service. On successful completion of Nursing Training (4years), the candidates will be granted Permanent/Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service.
The selected candidates are offered admission in BSc Nursing course at Colleges such as CON, AFMC Pune which has 30 number of seats, CON,CH(EC) Kolkata with 20 number of seats, CON, INHS Asvini, CON, AH (R&R) New Delhi & CON,CH (CC) Lucknow with 30 number of seats each. Lastly, CON, CH (AF) Bangalore with 20 number of seats.
Note that the candidates who are finally selected for the course will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite subjects and marks before joining the Course.
