Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore is all set to hold the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) on June 14, 2021. The application process for the test will begin on March 23 and the candidates will be able to apply until May 5, 2021, at iimidr.ac.in. The admit card for the test will be available from June 01, 2021, for all the registered candidates.
To be able to apply for the test, the candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2001 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC / ST / PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1996). Also, the candidate should have passed Standard XII / HSC or equivalent examination in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021.
Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 60% in standard X / SSC and standard XII / HSC or equivalent examinations (55 % for the candidates from SC / ST / PwD category).
IPMAT 2021 is being held for admission to IIM Indore’s 5-yr Integrated Program in Management. The exam will have three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question MCQ). Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).
The selection process includes qualifying IPMAT 2021 and appearing in Personal Assessment (PA) or a Video Based Assessment (VBA). A composite score will be calculated for the preparation of the final admission list. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS).
The composite score is the score IPMAT + score of Personal Interview. For the purpose of admission to Integrated MBA program, there are 150 seats in IIM Indore.
IIM Indore had launched the 5-year Integrated Program in Management in the year 2011. It is a unique gateway for 10+2 students to enter the premium management institute. This program will have 15 terms across 5 years. Each year will have 3 terms of 3 months each. IPM is in 2 parts: (1) 3 years for foundation (2) 2 years for management.
At the end of the five years, students will get Bachelor of Arts (Foundation Management), and Master of Business Administration (under the Dual Degree Program). Note that IPM students will have to complete a social internship at end of 2 years, and a business internship between 4th and 5th years.
IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Indore, was founded in 1996, it was the sixth IIM. First, IIM was established in Calcutta in 1961. IIM, Indore has a total 5 programs like Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), Executive Post-Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPMX), etc. There are a total of 139 staff, 1,300 students, and 1,200 postgraduates in the campus.
