The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) released the notification for MICAT 2019 on August 22, 2018. With that news, we came to know that the MICAT 2019 Application Form will release on August 23. Though candidates were not able to find the application link on the website yesterday. Even after contacting the officials we get the unconfirmed information that registration will either start from the evening of August 23 or from August 24, 2018.
MICAT Registration started
Finally, the MICAT 2019 Registration started early in the morning on August 24, 2018. Candidates now able to able to fill the application form without any hassle. You can apply for MICAT-I until November 20, 2018. For, MICAT-II registration, it will start from January 03, 2019.
Candidates applying or MICAT 2019 make sure that you apply for CAT/ XAT/ GMAT as well. As the part of the selection process include the score of given exams and MICAT also. Following that Group Exercise and Personal Interview round will take place.

MICAT 2019 New Exam Date
The one thing bothering the candidates was that the MICAT 2019 were clashing with IIFT entrance exam. So, after the much speculations, the MICA authorities have changed the MICAT 2019 Exam Date. It has now been scheduled to take place on December 01, 2018, instead of December 02, 2018. With the good news, students do not have to compromise on one paper and can apply for both the exams. IIFT for admission in the academic year 2019-21 will take place on December 02, 2018
Candidates have two chances to appear for MICAT but not for IIFT. So, applicants who wanted to apply for both the exams do not have to worry anymore. The only advantage of appearing for MICAT-I is that candidates can still take MICAT-II if the first session does not end well.
