IIFT 2020 Application Form Correction

National Testing Agency (NTA) will now open the IIFT 2020 application form correction window on November 9, 2019. Initially when the exam was announced, the correction window was supposed to be from November 1 to 7, 2019. Then it got changed to November 5 to 7, 2019 due to extension in registration. Now once again the dates have been changed because IIFT 2020 registration has once again been opened for Jammu Kashmir candidates.

NTA has given students from JnK another chance to apply for the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA in International Business (MBA IB) entrance exam and admission 2020. For this exam, as well as JEE Main 2020, CSIR NET 2019, UGC NET 2019, registration reopened on November 4, 2019, and will close tomorrow that is on November 8, 2019.

Due to this reason, the new starting date for application form correction is now November 9, 2019. And in only two-three days, the window will close. Last date to make changes in the form is November 11, 2019. On the last date, the window will close automatically at 11.59 pm.

NTA further states that if there is any difference in fee that the student has to pay during form correction, then they have to pay it by 11.50 on November 11, 2019. Modes of payment shall be credit card, debit card, netbanking, UPI, PAYTM.

The question that arises next is this – Will admit card be postponed? As per the information brochure of IIFT 2020, the date of release of admit card is November 11, 2019. However now the last date for form correction is the same. And NTA can only issue admit cards after accepting all corrections. So in this scenario, there are high chances that NTA shifts the date of issuance of admit card.

However under any circumstance, date of exam that is December 1, 2019, is not likely to change.

The application fee is Rs 2,000 for general, EWS, OBC. It is Rs 1,000 for SC, ST, PWD, transgender. And it is USD 150 that is Rs 9,500 for foreign nationals and NRIs. Depending upon the bank, mode, transaction charges and GST shall be applicable over and above this amount.

It is relevant to note that the process of form correction in itself will not be liable for extra charges. The fee amount requirement may arise when one is changing category from one to another. Also relevant to note is that if the category change is such that the new category has lower fee, then excess fee will not be refunded.

IIFT 2020 application form correction will be a one time facility. If anyone has incomplete details in the form, or incorrect, then they can login (when the window opens) and add, correct the details. After the last date of form correction window, no correction any means – in person, email, fax, telephone – will be entertained.

During correction, or any time later also, changes in examination cities will not be accepted by NTA. Candidates were thus asked to carefully select centres at the time of applying itself.

IIFT 2020 is the entrance exam for admission to Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. The institute has campuses in Kolkata and New Delhi. It is an autonomous business school that was founded in 1963.
